Welcome 

Welcome to my new updated website. I would like to introduce you to my music if you haven't heard it before. 

I am a singer songwriter from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. I have released seven CDs of original music and just completed my eighth with producer, Andrew Smith from Lake Studios, Kelowna, BC.  I think this is some of the best work I've ever done. 

I came to Andrew with an idea to take my normally acoustic music and apply interesting production values to change the vibe. It was so fun to do. The result is a sound I can't begin to describe. Edgy, fresh, interesting and fun. 

The songs were written over the last few years. Some morphed as we recoded them, some were rediscovered, some just showed up. It's this process that amazes me. How music can change the way we think and how we never know what will show up. 

I have included most of my other CDs. Some are available on Spotify, some I still have hard copies of.  

So take your time, have a look around, drop me a line. I rarely perform anymore, but you could be the first to know when I do.

This is the first video off my new album, Second Skin. The song speaks to the fear we all carry, that pesky little devil who whispers into our ears constantly. I wanted a video that felt anxious and slightly edgy. Fans know me as a folk singer/songwriter but with this arrangement by Andrew Smith at Lake Studios, I was able to create sonically that creepy, nervous feeling. 

I went to AI to generate the basic video. I was very specific about the look I wanted, moody, dark, black and white, nervous. It did a good job of generating the raw material  to work with., but it was a lot of tweaking. Moving things around and learning the language of video generation. 

AI is a hot debatable topic right now, but it has its uses. I don't want to be afraid of it in the context of my own art. I want to explore what it can help me do. Not expecting miracles.. just inspiration.
